Medieval Times Kissimmee, Florida Review

M’Lord, M’Lady,

Europe’s Eleventh Century lies within this citadel. Enter and go back to the Middle Ages, a time of moats, trumpets, wenches, knights in shining armor, damsels in distress.

Mama kept telling me not to eat with my fingers. However, that would be an impossible feat here in Medieval Times Kissimmee, the first castle themed restaurant in America. Have a taste of history. Service is quick, the menu simple, portions large.

I’ve been here before, and I’ll be back again (see 5/20/211 blog). What an atmosphere! The dressage of the all-white Andalusians is stunning. Horses are lovely and elegant; equestrian performers are skilled. I was mesmerized by the beauty of the bird of prey falcons in flight. Their speed and ability to change directions while diving are evidences of their exceptional hunting skills.

The evening’s program filled with jousting, hand-to-hand combat, swordsmanship, horsemanship, and games is a crowd pleaser guaranteed to entertain.
The audience really gets into it hissing and booing or cheering favorites on.

Medieval Times is located at 4510 W. Irlo Bronson Highway, Kissimmee, Florida 34746. Go to www.medievaltimes.com/orlando.aspx for information and reservations.
