2010 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE – RCA Voice Control Remote – All You Have To Do Is Say The Word

Rca Voice Control Remote

Hubby drives me crazy–always channel surfing. By the time he selects what we are going to watch, the show is half way over. Well, I am exaggerating a trifle but…. Recently I learned that? All You Have to Do Is Say the Word – if you have the RCA Voice Control Universal Remote. Just say the word (actually any one of up to 25 commands) and you don’t have to even move your little finger much less get up to do it all. It’s voice activated.

When I got one for review, I handed the backlit handset to hubby with the words, “Go play.” Its menu and guide support helped him set up the remote in no time. He did learn something too in the process: The equipment is sensitive so the programmer must speak clearly and distinctly in the voice-guided setup. Its more than just a channel and volume control. It has expanded reverse, play, forward, record, stop, pause, skip play, slow and skip forward options to do it all. Able to control up to six devices, it is a great addition to home theaters. Best of all, it accommodates multiple users.

This eleven ounce, 5.6 X 1.8 X 11 inch voice controlled universal remote works with satellite, cable, DirecTv, dvd, vcr, even fios and sells for $39.99. It is available nationwide in many stores and online.
