Pink Together is a national campaign to support those impacted by breast cancer and to help raise awareness of the disease. The site is part of a MySpace online community designed to support and encourage each other. Visitors to the site can read stories from breast cancer survivors and share their own stories.
As part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month General Mills is turning product packaging pink on many of its brands to help raise awareness about breast cancer. They are also donating $2,000,000 to Susan Komen for the Cure. That’s not all. In support of Pink Together, General Mills will donate $1, up to $20,000 for each time you post acomment of encouragement, send a virtual flower bouquet or share a story on PinkTogether.com in October.
Please support, comfort, and encourage those who have had to face breast cancer. Join in by sending someone a virtual flower or by posting something. Take some time and visit PinkTogether.com for Survivor Ambassadors stories and videos. I’m sure you will be as touched as I was.

Cheerios went pink for breast cancer! I lost an Aunt to breast cancer. She lived in another state and didn’t let her husband tell us until she was gone and buried. It was so sad for my Mom (her sister). So I like to see products go pink to remove the stigma some women feel when they are diagnosed.
