Brief Summary:
Eliza’s secret skill–the power to speak with animals–can come in handy as her nomadic family (father Sir Nigel, wife Marianne, sister Debbie, brother Donnie, and pet chimp Darwin) travel the world in their Commvee. They make wildlife documentaries that show real customs and cultures as well as real animal behaviors and habitats.

Official Shout Factory Release:
After an encounter with a mysterious shaman, Eliza Thornberry is granted the amazing ability to talk with animals. Traveling to every corner of the world with her family of daffy documentarians, Eliza uses her fantastic skill to learn about the lifestyles and habitats of the world’s most exotic creatures ? straight from the horse’s mouth! (And the chimp’s mouth, and the lion’s mouth, and? well, you get the idea.)

As I See It:
Those of you who have read my The Wild Thornberrys reviews (see 7/18/2011 and 4/17/2012 blogs) know that this series entertains as it educates. Each animated 22 minute episode shows audiences why the
public needs to accept environmental realities, be socially conscious, and learn to think GREEN.
