Those of you who read my reviews know that I follow Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart (see 2/23/15, 6/1/15, 7/20/15, 9/8/15, and current review) for my take on Season 2. Janette Oke’s best-selling tale of the life and times of turn of the century coal town in the Canadian West is epic. Frankly, I can’t wait for the upcoming sneak preview of Season 3 to air this holiday season. It’s my kind of entertainment–wholesome family.
The Complete Season 2 discs include:
1: ?Trials of the Heart (Movie Version)
2: ?Heart and Soul (Movie Version)
3: ?Heart of the Family (Movie Version)

My Opinion Only:
Trifle historical inaccuracies aside, When Calls the Heart is much like a time machine taking viewers back to simpler times uncomplicated by technology. Although frontier life was tough, its people are real, its events plausible, its setting a true vista.
