What’s in a Name Anyway?

welcome kill devil hills nc sign

Driving down, I-95 I could not be anything but intrigued when I reached North Carolina. Names like Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Duck, Waves, Swansboro, Emerald Isle certainly are picturesque and image invoking. No need to hire someone like http://www.meservylawpc.com to learn more about them, Google and Wiki abounds with tons of historical info. It made me think how much fun it would be to take in the sun and frolic in the sand. I think it would be interesting to check out vacation home rentals. The area boasts top beaches, exciting activities, scenic vistas, and even culture opts. If you live in North Carolina or have visited, I’d love to hear what you like most about it.

  1. My family vacationed at Kill Devil Hills Outerbanks to be at the 100 Years of Flight Celebration Wright Brothers event. The name did strike me because of the word Devil, but at least it has kill. The best vacation ever for my family. We loved driving the one main road along the Outerbanks and were so happy to find private beaches where we were the only ones in sight. Beautiful. Blessings
