Welch’s Filled Concord Grape and Strawberry Licorice Review
As I began packing for another trip, I bemoaned to hubby,” I have no snacks for the plane.” Instead of his usual common sense advice, “Buy some,” he replied, “Look some just came,” as he opened a package and out came two packages of Welch’s Filled Licorice. That would have all been good EXCEPT I love licorice almost as much as I love chocolate.
I rationalized, I’ll try one piece of the Concord Grape and review it now. I tried one, then another, then another until the package was empty. About then hubby asked, “Where’s mine?” I decided to share nicely and after taking two pieces out, gave him the Strawberry to enjoy. He did down to the last strip. The bad news is I again have no snacks for the plane. The good news is this is one fat-free candy treat.
I have decided that Welch’s Filled Licorice is addicting. Evidence is how quickly hubby and I ate our bags of candy. Describe them simply as fresh, flavorful, delicious. Their soft chewy jelly fillings are sweet, perfectly so not too strong.
Welch’s Filled Licorice is real fruit-filled tubes of licorice – made from real fruit juice and fruit pectin.
