My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic: The Friendship Express DVD Review
Many say that I spoiled my first born. She wanted nothing except a pony. Time and time again I explained to her that our zoning prohibited livestock on residential lots. Still she kept asking. How I wish Hasbro had introduced My Little Pony back then. Their colorful bodies, symboled flanks, and beautiful manes might have tempered my refusal’s sting!
My daughter and now my granddaughters love ponies and horses. What little girl doesn’t? So I know that the DVD My Little Pony, Friendship Is Magic, The Friendship Express is something any little girl will enjoy and want to watch over and over again. Its lessons of friendship, tolerance, and respect are the best. The humor and moral outlook of each adventure makes for good example.
With a total running time of two hours, Hub TV Channel’s My Little Pony Friendship Express episodes (non-sequential) are:
- Friendship Is Magic, Part 1 (Mare in the Moon)
- Friendship Is Magic, Part 2 (Elements of Harmony)
- Over a Barrel
- Hearth’s Warming Eye
- The Last Roundup
Every one of these TV-Y animated stories for girls is joyful not cynical. Ponyville residents Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie although different are true friends. They show girls should not be limited by what others think. Together they bring harmony. I just wish that some boy ponies (like real life) would be included to balance.
- Meet the Ponies!
- Coloring Sheet
- Pound Puppies TV Debut “Yipper Caper”
