Neutrogenena Night Calming Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes Review

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

My once problem skin cleared up with age and clean skin. No longer do I use much makeup daily. Instead I opt for the natural look. However, to my way of thinking, full makeup is the best way to go in the professional workplace, at business meetings, and for formal celebrations.

Recently I attended a special luncheon in the city. I complemented my business casual outfit with full makeup – moisturizer, powder, concealer, blush, eyebrow pencil, mascara, and lip gloss. Hubby’s flattery of my Plain Jane into cosmetic model metamorphosis made me feel glamorous, alive, and almost young again.

Practical Pat. discovered early in life that clogged pores breed bacteria and skin problems. So, once home again, she knew all cosmetics had to be 100% removed. Dirt, oil, and grimy residue left on skin from dawn long into the night are no-no’s when it comes to healthy, glowing skin. Let’s face it. Applying makeup is not hard; it’s removing it that is unless one uses special cleansing towels.

Most beauty bars simply don’t work. Soap and water are harsh on the face. Cold creams are greasy. Liquid cleansers don’t go far. But, Neutrogena Makeup Remover Night Calming Cleansing Towelettes do work. Want evidence? Then take a look at the pictures of my greasepaint and the used soft, small, premoistened, ultra-soft skin-conditioning cloth.

I can’t say that the towelette’s lavender and chamomile extracts helped calm or relax me. What I can say though is that the towelette removed every trace of cosmetics even waterproof mascara without irritating or reddening my face or eyes without rubbing my face raw. It does not strip natural oils or dry the skin. It is so gentle (no stinging or burning) that I am recommending it to those with sensitive eyes as well as those who wear contact-lenses.

Neutrogenena Night Calming Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes have been dermatologically tested and allergy tested. With no rinsing required, alcohol-free Neutrogenea Night Calming Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes are perfect for at home and on the go. Lightweight and easy to pack unlike heavy bottles that spill, for convenience alone they are worth their $8 MSRP.

  1. I like how it can take off the waterproof makeup. I think I will go down today and get these if I can find them. Thanks for the review.
