Lisa Diamaini’s Star Rock for Kids CD Review

Star Rock For Kids Cover

Moms and dads yearning for a life-changing opportunity for their darling little one to become a star will buy Lisa Diamiani’s premiere CD Star Rock for Kids. ?The CD holds more than music. ?It also holds an invitation and an application for kids aged 5 to 17 to create a two-minute video of them performing and submit it. ?The hope is that the kids will be chosen for the next volume of Star Rock for Kids.

Star Rock for Kids showcases the talents of Sarah, Hanna, Allegra, Carson, Lizzie, Nicole, Ruby, Katie, and Amy. ?These 7-17 year old girls perform 18 covers of award-winning songs in a variety of styles. ?Each delivery of a classics of big band, rock and roll, rap, hip-hop, etc., is clear, bright, bouncy, and age appropriate.

Performance highs begin with Beautiful Life and end with Funkytown. ?Katie’s and Amy’s talents and styles appeal to me more than?those of of the younger girls with less polished deliveries and still developing voices.?Hey! ?Why aren’t young male singers also showcased??The tween audience will make or break this CD and its star hopefuls not me.

Also on the disc are?Glamorous, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, If I Can’t Have You, Holiday, You Make Me Feel So Young, S.O. S., See You Later Alligator, ?Boogie Ooogie Oogie, We Got the Beat, I Will Survive, Makes Me Wonder, Breathless, L-O-V-E, Love Will Keep Us Together, and Girlfriend.

The SMRP of Star Rock for Kids is $15.99. ?It is available in nationwide retailers like Target and Walmart as well as online. For more information, go online to www.starrockfor kids com.

  1. I asked my kids what they thought of this CD. They told me I must be kidding if I want to know what they thought, but they did anyways. I don’t think I should share it. My kids are into more upper class music–it’s what happens when they are homeschooled.
