Keurig Brew Over Ice K-Cups Review

Keurig Brew Over Ice Image

My parents raised me in the shadow of the Depression mentality. No waste whatsoever was allowed. Convenience food and quick food service simply did not exist. Meals were prepared and served in the kitchen. Coffee came from the pot on the stove. I guess I really am dating myself.

I began receiving SS in 2007 and have lived on that same fixed income ever since. Year after year, the government has not given any cost of living adjustment. So paying bills is in and frills like ice coffee and ice tea from the gourmet drive-ins are out leaving me to make my own. Luckily for me, I have help, my Keurig.

This week Keurig sent me its 16 ounce, double walled, clear plastic, completely reusable iced beverage tumbler (retail $9.99) with screw-on-top and straw along with some sample Brew Over Ice K-Cups. Brewing is so much easier and more convenient now. I choose either the 6 or 8 ounce brew size, fill with ice, pop in a specially blended Brew Over Ice K-Cup (www.BrewOverIce.Com) and brew.

Like Keurig says, “We’ve got brewing down COLD.” My only problem now is deciding which delicious iced coffee is best (French Vanilla or Nantucket) and which perfect iced tea is my fave (Sweet Raspberry or Southern Sweet Black Tea).

Available Brew Over Ice K-cups include:

Green Mountain Coffee? Iced Coffees:

  • Nantucket Blend? Iced Coffee
  • French Vanilla Iced Coffee

Celestial Seasonings? Perfect Iced Teas:

  • Half and Half (Black Tea and Lemonade)
  • Southern Sweet Tea
  • Sweet Berry Lime Green Tea
  • Sweet Lemon Black Tea
  • Sweet Peach Black Tea
  • Sweet Raspberry Black Tea
  • Sweet Tropical Breeze White Tea
  • Unsweetened Black Tea

  1. I have seen this on other blogs as a giveaway. I like the convenience, but I don’t think I would like the extra cost of the little K-cups. In this tough economy, it is better for me just to brew my own tea or coffee the usual way and save a little money. Thanks for sharing.
