Car Prices Sure Have Skyrocketed
My first car was a 1960 premiere full-size Ford Fairlaine 500. No more foot power or public transportation for me back them. Armed with my driver’s license, automobile registration, car insurance, and roadside assistance plan, I drove everywhere. Of course, that car new cost only $2,000 and its regular gasoline just $0.31 per gallon. Couldn’t even buy a clunker and drive it once around the block nowadays. Time to go back to walking.
