Ironic isn’t it, that a car can be worth less than the sum of its parts? Strange but true–those Astin-Martin, Mercedes, and Ferrari parts bring criminal rings more than selling stolen cars in one piece. Why? Something like vin numbers are hard to disguise and impossible to eradicate. Criminals just can’t unload most expensive hot automobiles here in the United States. It’s too risky and easy to get caught in grand larceny. Instead they sell them as used parts.
