Some Habits Never Die

red pen

Old school parochial English composition demanded correct capitalization, punctuation, spelling and usage. When one saw RED, it meant there was an error to correct. Some people carry things too far. I have to plead guilty to this one.

I found hubby’s note to me, “Honey, differin with you, I think we should leave in the morning rather than when I get home. Please think about it.”

Rather than beg the point, out came my red pen. Spelling error: differing ends in G. I never got to write the rest of the note luckily telling him OK, we would do it his way. So we left right before the February 5 blizzard that has the East snowed in.

It is nice and warm and cozy here in Central Florida.
