KinderCare Learning Centers
I took a full time job when my daughter was exactly 24 days old. I moved near my parents because 44 years ago there were few and far between solid childcare programs. I wish KinderCare had been existence back then. Probably one of its 1,600 nationwide centers is near you. I know that there is one just in the next town. Infants, toddlers, discovery preschool, preschool, prekindergarten, kindergarten, elementary catch the wave, enrichment, summer camp, KinderCare has it ALL.
KinderCare is about parent teacher partnering, communication, trained teachers, and small class size. Its variety of programs for children aged six weeks to twelve years is based on more than child care. It is based on commitment, experience, and innovation. Holding a state licence isn’t enough, it goes beyond minimum requirements for accreditation. At KinderCare, the goal for every child goes beyond childcare. It extends to making friendships, building self-esteem, and developing curiosity.
Forty years experience in childcare and education means something, doesn’t it? Each child has his/her own unique talents which he/she is encouraged to explore. He/she learns by the challenge of doing. His/her independence comes with time moving from small to whole group activities to skill-based learning in an organized atmosphere. Summertime is moving along. Soon it will be back to school. I recommend you research what KinderCare offers vs. babysitters and nannies as you consider options.
FYI: See for yourself. KinderCare Learning Centers is hosting a Nationwide Open House Day Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Contact your local KinderCare and RSVP for the Open House.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central and received a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
