K’NEX Value Tub
Open-ended play is good for kids. They like building and playing with their creations. My own children and grandchildren were big into construction. Tinkertoys, Lincoln Logs, Erector Sets, Legos–they had them all. Enter K’nex into the market in 1993 with its bricks, rods, and connectors. It was innovative and creative then; it still is now.
Team Mom recently sent me the K’NEX 400 Piece Value Tub to check out. Within hours of its arrival?I found hubby making a rather futuristic race car. He was trying to make something for his grandson, or so he says. What else can I expect from a man who still wishes he could be driving on the track? I just wish I thought of the idea first. It is fun to design and build things.
K’NEX Intermediate 400 Piece Value Tub is recommended for children ages 7+. Its SMR is $21.99 and is available in stores and on line. The tub comes with building ideas for 20 different models and a convenient storage tub. This toy helps build manipulative skills and fosters ingenuity. Couple this toy with an active mind and the possibilities are limitless.
