Cafeteria Charm

cattle running

For years I enjoyed the dubious duty of supervising the intermediate school lunchroom. It was much like a Western cattle drive to market. Teachers herded in classes. Young teens pushed their way on to lines. Boys and girls gulped down food then stampeded out to recess. Whoever was ordering the food should have checked out cattle supplies. Too bad that parents don’t come into school and watch their teens au naturale.

  1. That’s kinda funny! Not really though if you work there! When I went to school that never really happened as far as pushing/shoving. Of course we had the annoying cutting in line or saving places! Oh those were the days! lol!
