My eldest son has invited me to stay with him in his timeshare on property. Of course, I must go. Vacation is the one time I get to spend some quality time with my #1 granddaughter. We get to do fun things together.
Her giggles and smiles once had me brave Animal Kingdom’s Triceratops Spin at least a half dozen times in one morning. Her love of water makes me into a shriveled prune most afternoons. Her affection for Disney characters has had me waiting in line waiting for an autograph and picture long after my legs collapsed. She loves Disney. Her clothing, toys, Cd’s, DVDs all advertise that clearly. I don’t know how many times we will get to go into the parks together. I wish they still sold tickets the way they did back the ’70’s–A, B, C, D, E and Park Admission separately. Ticket prices are prohibitive in today’s economy for seniors on a fixed income like me.
I’m sure we’ll find fun things to do and have a great time together..
