It’s been six years since that summer adventure when Tai and the rest of the DigiDestined crossed over to the Digital World, and nearly three years since the final battle between Kari’s second generation DigiDestined and MaloMyotismon. And, at some point, the gate to the Digital World mysteriously closed. With the gate closed, the days continue to pass, until the adventure “digivolves” once again.

Bonus Features:
Original Japanese Language Track
Interviews With Members Of The English Voice Cast
A Look At The Reunion Screening

As I See It:
Audiences may feel a touch of nostalgia when they see Chapter 1, Reunion. Digimon’s cast has returned in a dubbed script that remains faithful to the Japanese original. Tai, Matt, and Izzy, have a new Digimon partner Meiko. Can they triumph against malfunctioning electronics, threatening Kuwagamon, and Black Digimon Alphamon?

My Opinion Only:
The release of the first of six Digimon Adventure tri films. Chapter 1:  Reunion to DVD is big news to Japanese action-adventure anime fans.  Consider this Digimon movie as the sequel to two previous tv series. Hopefully Chapter 2:  Determination, Chapter 3, Confession, Chapter 4 Loss, and Chapter 5, Symbiosis will soon follow.
