My Opinion Only:
Emmy nominated Transformers: Robots in Disguise targets the 4-6 year gap between young kids and pre-teen/teens. Autobots vs Decepticon, secret identities, teen allies make for interested audiences. Each new animated adventure is full of jokes and action. Each new cel-shaded CGI is light and bright. While TRID shows some violence (guns, swords, pain, destruction, its focus on teamwork, critical thinking, loyalty, self-sacrifice and willingness to learn and change is the real story.
