My Opinion Only:

How many readers have never seen a farm? How many readers have picked their own produce? Ask many city dwellers where their food comes from and they just don’t know. It is something they have never considered. That’s why Casey for Kids books like New Tractors works. They helps kids understand how and where fresh food–meaning grains, fruit, and vegetables is grown. Simple facts, fun trivia, and an occasional joke make for an interesting read.
