Ice Breakers Duo Mints

Gone but not forgotten is the epitaph for my Hershey Ice Breaker Duo Mints.

I opened the sharing end of strawberry variety first, popped one in my mouth, and let it dissolve. First thing I noticed was the strong strawberry taste and smell. Never have figured out if it is sweet or sour. As the sugar free mint duo dissolved in my mouth, a cooling burst of mint followed. Wow, those small speckled oblongs are a tasty mouth refresher! I offered one to hubby. Man of few words, I coaxed out of him, “Cooling, minty.”

I opened the yourself end of the raspberry next, popped one into my mouth, and let it dissolve. Uh oh, I knew I was in trouble when I crunched! I always do that with candies I like. Practicing good manners, I asked hubby if he would like to try one. He emphatically reminded me that he does not like raspberries as I had one, then another, then another. Soon the entire 1.3 ounce container was empty. The saving thing about the experience for calorie counting me is that delicious, refreshing Ice Breaker Duos breath mints have no calories.
