Orchard Bar Review

Orchard Bar Trio

Is an Orchard Bar an energy bar, a health bar, a fruit bar or a protein bar? Interesting question.  After I ate my first one, I had to restrain myself from eating another immediately. This snack is sooo good, I think it is really candy.

The manufacturer describes Orchard Bars as a good source of protein, made with heart-healthy nuts, rich in antioxidants, high in Omega 3*, all-natural, non-GMO, and 60% organic, no preservatives, trans-fats, or cholesterol, vegan, Kosher, low in sodium, gluten-free, dairy-free. At 180-190 calories, 5-6 grams protein, 6-7 grams fat, and 25-26 grams carbs per 1.6 ounce bar, I can’t resist its Hawaiian pineapple, homemade jelly, and backyard blueberry flavorings.

Orchard Bars come in three different varieties – Blueberry Pomegranate & Almond, Pineapple Coconut & Macadamia, and Strawberry Raspberry & Walnut. I don’t know which one I like best (I failed to restrain myself for long). Made with real fruits, nuts, seeds, and soy nuggets without date paste, peanuts, and artificial ingredients, these treats remind me of local home grown. Perhaps that is because many of their Washington State ingredients are just that.

Go to LibertyOrchards.com to locate local retailers or order online. The 12 count single variety package retails for $14.95 and the 20 count assorted varieties package retails at $25.95.

I didn’t see anywhere on the site where to find a store near me, but I can still order online. I would love to take a factory tour at their home in Cashmere, WA.
