ShopRite Partners In Caring Bloggers Against Hunger

The donation by ShopRite Partners in Caring/Bloggers in Caring was a success.  3,000 boxes of cereal were donated to local food banks.  The special-edition Honey Nut Cheerios box featuring a mosaic of Bloggers in Caring will be on sale exclusively in ShopRite stores starting next week.

Hunger exists in America.  General Mills and ShopRite want to help keep this issue out in the front and need your help.  From January 1 through March 1, 2010, there will be a video contest, Expressions of Hunger.  See www.expressionsofhunger for complete contest rules.

Go for it.  Be creative.  Be innovative.  Make people notice.  WANTED:  That song, piece of poetry, dance, or dramatic reading that shows the ravages of hunger or shows a glimmer of hope at solving it.  Then submit your–don’t be shy or humble–it is the awareness that makes this project work.  Maybe you will be one of the six grand prize winners featured  on another special-edition Cheerios box.
