Years ago my boys set up a gym in the back room. They equipped it with weights, bicycle, a jogging machine, and the equivalent of a Nordictrack audiostrider 990 pro. Ah, the testosterone that filled the room!
The next craze was gaming. In went ping pong table, pool table, card table, and home-theater projection television. Lucky it really was a big rec room….
What’s next? No man cave this time around. It is going to be the family room I always dreamed of so when everyone gets together we can all sit down together, relax, and share.

My sons did the same! Now we are remodeling our family room. I love a family room too. I want it to be a fun place for my grandchildren when they visit.

I am yearning to turn our guest room into a game room as we only have guests once a year. I would love a pinball machine and an air hockey table. I could throw a blow up bed on top of the air hockey table when my guests arrive, right???
