Listerine and Reach Team Up In An Oral Care Challenge
Hubby loves mail. He actually pouts if I happen to get out to the mailbox before him. He loves opening the mail. I don’t know why since it is usually bills, bills, bills. He also loves opening any kind of package. Yesterday he stalked the UPS delivery truck–his reward, MY box of great Listerine and Reach products. Lots of Listerine (Smart Rinses, Agent CoolBlue, Zero Mint Clean, Cool Mint) and lots of Reach tooth care accessories including as well as lots of toothbrushes, Access flosser, floss).
I recently reorganized the medicine cabinets to see what I needed, and this package filled in a lot of blanks. I believe in good tooth care. It begins with toddlers brushing and visiting dentists. It continues frequent brushing daily and regular visits to the dentist ideally twice a year. It can’t ever stop if you want to keep teeth instead of getting false ones.
Middle son appreciated the wisdom of good tooth care enough to grab some Listerine Cool Mint Rinse along with a new Reach Total Care and Whitening Toothbrush. Glad he did. This time I enjoyed saying, “Told you so.” I don’t mind sharing.
I bet you would never guess what the #1 chronic childhood disease is. It is pediatric dental disease. Sad, unnecessary, avoidable.
Old habits may die hard but it is worth the effort. Get kids into the good oral hygiene habit. Start by being a good example yourself. Let them see you brushing, flossing, and rinsing at least two times daily for the next three weeks – coincidentally that is Listerine and Reach’s October Oral Care Challenge. Then play some follow the leader by making it their turn to do the same and chart it. I have my own visual reminder up on the freezer to spur on the rest of my ever in and out family, children, significant others, their children, and on and on.
Today is Halloween. Its BIG 3 is costumes, candy, and cavities. How about teaming up instead with Reach to Trick or Treat for America’s Toothfairy? Be generous if you see any toothfairies or wizards collecting coins. It will be for a good cause, the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, an organization who wants every child to be able to smile. You can help too if you wish. A downloadable Trick or Treating kit is available for download.
?I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of LISTERINE and REACH and received products to take the Oral Care Challenge. Mom Central Consulting also sent me a Global Giving gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.?
