Does Fake Smoking Contribute To Real Smoking?

When I was a toddler, the penny candy store sold children packs of bubblegum, chocolate, and mint candy cigarettes. Perhaps those candy toys made kids mimic adult smoking behavior. Maybe it is a good thing that penny candy stores aren’t around today to sell kids them. Smoking is an addiction that some never break even with all the aids out there–patches, gum, even electronic cigarettes.
