Los Angeles is known for its glamour; however, what most people never realize is that its northern half is a large, sparsely populated desert. I recently flew out there, knowing it could be be hot, hot, hot during the day but cool at night. With that in mind, I packed accordingly – light clothes and tanning lotion, long pants and a jacket. I also threw in a package of Cool Off Citrus Ice, The Quick Chill. When the temp gets to 100 and the sweat is rolling down, anything is worth a try.
I opened a packet. I was curious how this “ultra soft towelette infused with natural herbs, plant/botanicals, and essential oils” would work. As I opened the packet, everyone in the room commented negatively on its first note smell. The four of us all agreed that odor free would have been a better choice than fragrance. I applied the towelette first to my face then my neck and arms. It was moist, not drippy, and did the job. Luckily the lasting fragrance had softened and did no longer offend.
My skin tingled a bit for the first several minutes then the effect was gone. I have been told that its effects can last from twenty minutes to ninety depending on the user. I actually felt cooler than I had before using the towelette. The greatest thing about them is that they’re small and portable.

I’d find this most useful when on full day outings in the summer. There are so many times, I just want to dump water over my head, etc. to cool off. I am thinking these migh help considerably.
