Kiddies will love every one of the 88 minutes of Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Squeakquel released onto DVD March 30, 2010. This live-action CGI animated comedy was 2010′s Kids’ Choice Awards favorite movie winner. Songs like “We Are Family” are fun making for a soundtrack sound that young audiences want to hear.

To recap the storyline: When David Seville is hospitalized, he sends his sons, the Chipmunks, to stay with Aunt Jackie and go to school. Unfortunately Aunt Jackie becomes hospitalized, so grandson Toby steps in. Alvin, Simon and Theodore have problems with some rival jocks and are sent to the principal’s office. They learn that the high school music program is about to be cut unless they can take the big battle of the bands prize.

Meanwhile their old manager Ian Hawke dupes the Chipettes into working for him. He won’t let them go and imprisons them in a cage. The brothers stop fighting and work together, aided by remote motorcycles and helicopters, to rescue them. The Chipmunks and the Chipettes appear in the contest and win. Sisters Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor without a home, move in with Dave.
