I have been eating yogurt myself for years, and I fed it to my own kids as they were growing up. To this day I eat the custardy variety. This week I tried something new - YoBaby Yogurt. I picked up the banana and vanilla flavors in the six cup combo pack.

YoBaby is 100% natural, contains no anti-biotics or synthetic growth hormones, and comes from farms using no toxic pesticides or fertilizers. I also learned it is USDA certified organic and gluten-free, a good protein source, rich in calcium with added vitamin D and fiber. Probiotic cultures makes it the healthy choice.
Now for the nutritional facts–each four ounce serving was 110 calories, with 4 grams protein, and 13 to 14 grams carbohydrates. I just found a perfect baby food for an infant 6+ months old IF….
Well, it is time to taste test–nutritious is not good enough for me if the product tastes bad. Stonyfield YoBaby Banana didn’t; Stonyfield Vanilla didn’t either. The fact is that they both were delicious. I could taste the real fruit, mild not over-powering. Every spoonful was thick and creamy in a rich dairy base. Yum! Now I want to try out the other combo varieties available, namely blueberry and apple and peach and pear.

WIN IT!
The winner of this giveaway will receive a YoBaby bowl with lid, an organic YoBaby bib, and a bundle of 5 Free YoBaby coupons.

I would love to feel better about what I feed to my boys. This looks like a great product. They would like the vanilla and banana, but I think the blueberry and apple look good.

I would like to try the Stonyfield Organic Frozen Yogurt, especially the “Gotta Have Java.”
on Aug 16th, 2009 at 7:55 pm
Stonyfield is the BEST !! I love it, and eat it every day. Why because they have none of the ingredients I cannot have in their fat free french vanilla yogurt…. it’s all natural and healthy for me. Most other yogurts even the vanilla ones have ingredients I cannot have, so technically it is the only one I can have! So it’s french vanilla (fat free) for me!!
