Tennis and golf may be popular, but I venture to say that golf is presently the most popular individual sport in the U. S. A. Understand I do not mean competitively but recreationally. Golf courses are everywhere. My own county has several, and my home state many more. I am surrounded by them when I go to Disney World, Florida. I drove by them in the Finger Lake, New York mountainside. I sighted them in the desert in my recent trip cross country. I found an abundance of Myrtle beach golf in South Carolina. I have never tried a real hole; however, I do enjoy mini-golf.

I’ve never played golf, either. I think it would be fun, but I don’t know that I could commit the time to playing. My husband played once, but he has no patience, so he’d be out as a golfing partner (I believe the story was that a club ended up in a tree…)!

I played golf when I took it in college as a PE class, and I played a little afterward. Based on my skill level, I prefer miniature golf!

Different strokes–I think the golf cart is the sppoiler that takes most of the exercise out of the spoprt laid back as it is.

The only golfing I have done is putt putt golf (min-golf) In the area where I live there are many golf courses

I have attempted to play golf, notice the word “attempt”. How in the world do you know how hard to swing, with which club to get the dang ball into the hole! Huh? Someone tell me – ’cause I sure don’t know.
Now, miniature golf – still pretty bad, but at least I get to laugh and have fun!

i never played “golf” before unless you count ” mini golf ” what is more up our Alley because its just more Fun and regular Golf. Gee, i almost consider “real golf” boring ..lol

I’m not sure if I qualify as never having played golf, because I did attempt it. I couldn’t get the ball to get off the ground. Much harder than it looks! Just hitting it all was more difficult that I thought it would be!
