This series is loosely based on Terry Goodkind’s The Sword of the Truth novels with its title from the first book Wizard’s First Rule. Writing generally is faithful to the books’ characters, themes, and arcs. It’s story is that of a hero and his friends journey and the sacrifices they make for one another in the name of real friendship. What distinguishes it from others is its tongue-in-cheek humor. Total running time is 946 minutes. Mark this adventure-fantasy a good bet.
