Home Insurance

house of money

The day I bought my first home I also bought home insurance. The mortgage company demanded it. Were the house or property damaged, were someone to be injured on it, the people who lent me the money for my home wanted to be protected. I thought this reasonable then and I still do. Home insurance covered them from loss. Home insurance also covered me from loss. Hopefully, no one ever has to file a claim against his policy. Still it is comforting to know that he is protected from natural occurrences like wind and water. All he has to worry about is acts of God.

Homeowners Insurance is a godsend when there is a disaster. We even make sure our renters have renters insurance incase something would happen.

    Kelly,

Good bet for renters.  My son just signed a lease requiring it.

My renters is relatively inexpensive and I get a little back at the end of each year. Our policy would be even cheaper if we didn’t have the dog. I’ve never needed it but it’s good piece of mind.
