A thing of beauty is a joy forever. With that said, I love looking at the water. The only reason I did not buy my house on the bay in ‘69 was that my daughter was still two and I feared for her safety. ET and LA both promised to buy me one someday, but that is not meant to be. Inflation, scarcity of waterfront property, and DEP laws are the reality. So I vacation where I can and when I can to places with a water view. Still in my mind….
I have been enjoying the sound of Seashore Waves Chimes. Like the manufacturer says, it is truly an instrument of nature. Gentle breeze makes for beautiful sounds from windchimes. I love the music it makes. I also like its decorative beauty. Its ornamental artwork is great. With a few simple maintenance tips, it is even weather protected. I don’t recommend leaving it out in a hurricane though.
About Woodstock Chimes and Seashore Waves Chimes
Woodstock Chimes, a leading manufacturer of precision tuned windchimes, offers a multitude of gorgeously designed and melodic windchimes, which make an exquisite addition to any home or garden. The Seashore Waves™ windchime, part of the company’s Asli Arts Collection, an eye-catching line of bamboo and capiz chimes, debuted as part of the company’s summer 2009 introductions. The chime features thirty-nine white capiz chimes, cascading from a coconut wood top, creating a white “waterfall” of beauty, bringing a tranquil look and sound to its surrounding environment.
The capiz chime features capiz shells farmed in Indonesia and was hand-crafted with pride by craftsmen of Bali. The chime is comprised of mixed square and round capiz shells and interspersed brown accent shells for contrast and interest and is strung together with strong, invisible, nylon cord — the thin, flat translucent pieces provide luminous color. The gentle sound of the capiz created when the wind blows makes wonderful background music for your home or garden. This item is the perfect gift for any mother, grandmother, daughter or avid gardener. The chime measures 35 inches.
Woodstock Chimes stands behind its products. Besides its warranty services, it offers some refurbishing ones as well. It also has repair kits available for minor wear and tear problems. My Sand Dollar one is made from white washed ash wood and has five satin silver anodized aluminum tubes along with a handpainted resin windcatcher. Its $32.95 price makes it a great value.
For more informati0on on its other products including Asli art, go to the www.chimes.com. It has a great zip code locator of the retailers closest to you so you can see the chimes and hear them.
