GIFT IDEA – VAPUR WATER BOTTLE
I am an airline passenger who has been brown bagging since the airlines began charging for everything alcohol, beverages, even water, snacks, luggage, meals, paper tickets, assigned seating. What’s next? I know when Homeland Security decreed that no liquids could pass airport security check, it was doing so for the safety of the passengers. I support this totally.
Years after 9/11 regulations still exist–often changing from day to day and airport to airport. I hate to think how many bottles of water, glasses of soda, and cups of coffee I had to dump prior to the safety screening. Health experts recommend that an individual drinks half of his/her body weight in ounces so I drink a lot of fluids. BUT airport prices are not friendly to my pocketbook.
To solve this, first I brought empty sports bottles and filled them after I got to the gate. The problems were they either did not fit under the fountain spout or I lost them in transport. Next I brought an plastic water bottle instead. The problem was that its eco-friendly shell is thin and cracks. I didn’t like having everything I was carrying wet.
Vapur came up with the ultimate solution for me in its reusable, flexible, refillable water bottle. Because it is not rigid, it can be rolled, folded, or flattened. It can also be frozen to keep drinks cold or serve as an emergency ice pack for travelers out of the airport.
This washable, dishwasher safe portable container stands like a bottle in use. It is made from ultra-durable, FDA-approved BPA-free polymer. It comes in blue, pink, and green and has a sixteen fluid ounces capacity.
Vapur is available for purchase online for $8.95 and comes with a sports cap and carabiner.

I had no idea up to 50% of water is wasted in manufacturing. That is horrible since it is likely contaminated by machine oils after that.

I love that these are dishwasher safe! I do charity walks and am always looking for alternative ways to hydrate. I use a hydration pack for the long walks, but for a 5K, this bottle would be fine. I like to mix water and sports drink at 50/50. Being able to put the bottle in the dishwasher is a must for me.
Great product! Thanks for telling us about it.

I learned:
We have joined the 1% For The Planet program through which we give a portion of all Vapur sales to water-related environmental causes. And we are in the process of working with local communities to make clean tap water more readily available than ever.
