GIFT IDEA – OTTERBOX

About Otterbox

Keep high tech gifts safe this season — protect with custom cases from OtterBox! Offering protection for Apple®, BlackBerry®, HP, Nokia®, HTC, Samsung® devices and others, OtterBox will safeguard expensive technology no matter what your holiday adventures bring.

In the snow…

As a snowboard instructor at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Breckenridge, Colo., Nicholas Nolan uses the OtterBox Defender Series™ to protect his iPhone™ 3G. “I wanted a case that would protect my phone from the different elements that I experience,” Nolan said. “There is no other case like the OtterBox.”

Or in the sun…

“Life in a tropical location can be rainy, humid and wet every day,” says OtterBox customer Nicole Lataif, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. “I know my phone is safe with the OtterBox case.”

I try to be careful ,but I am a klutz. When I got my iPod Touch, I was afraid I would bump it, drop it, or scratch it. Therefore, I left it in its impractical, unusable hard plastic case. There had to be a better way. Enter Otter Box, maker of protective cases for tech gadgets. Their cases have layers and layers of protection, even waterproofing. I received a sample of the Defender Series. This case protects everything, even covers the screen, while allowing full usability.  The case itself is lightweight and slim. It is designed to allow the user to sync and charge the iPod or iPhone while in the case. Its only drawback is the auto-brightness of some models which does not function.

I appreciate getting a chance to review this truly hard to get product. Everyone who has i systems wants it and for good reason. The Defender Series for iPod touch 2nd gen retails for $18.99 and is available through OtterBox.
