Ford sponsors its Warriors in Pink Campaign. and donates 100% of the net proceeds to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The 2009 Ford Warriors in Pink apparel collection is for both men and women, and features important symbols signifying the message of hope, strength and unity in the commitment to the fight against breast cancer. Its clothes line includes the Midnight Warrior T-Shirt, “Rosie” Zip-Up Jacket, Unisex Long Sleeve Shirt, Woman’s Tank, Ladies Burnout Tee, and Warrior Flip Flops. Its accessories include a stamping kit, umbrella, scarf, key ring, decal, baseball cap, travel tumbler, 4GB Zune, license plate frame, pin, and patches.

yay Ford!!!!! my mom is a breast cancer survivor and my husband and i are huge Ford fans! i love that they have created this program.

Of course I like the ZUNE, but really I think the stamping Kit would be so great for everyone to have!!! THAT way, when you pay a bill, send a note to school, send a card or letter—-anything you can put a stamp on, it will remind EVERYONE about this terrible fight women AND some men are in—for their very lives. I think it is VERY admirable for Ford to do this. Big companies are said to do this for a “gimmick”, but I DONT believe this. I believe they care…and for them to step up and DO something about BREAST CANCER when they dont HAVE to…well, it speaks volumes.
I just tonight visited a good friend who had remission for about 9 years. She is failing now and I just visited her tonight to say goodbye. Organs are shutting down and we know it is the last walk…. she will be leaving a freshman and senior in high school and a wonderful husband. She was yellow with jaundice and i told her it was only because she was full of sunshine her whole life. THe image of her full watt smile will remain in every crevice of my brain forever. She is a fullhearted MOM, WIFE, and FRiend. And she is the face of so many women who need companies like Ford to fight back. THANKS to Ford and so many others who have stepped up to help fight but , sadly can not always win the battle. (For Suey S. from WIsconsin) SHe is a hero and she is in one word…COURAGE!
