HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE – FlameDisk

GIFT IDEA – FLAMEDISK

We have a great propane grill out on the back deck but, let’s face it, it simply does not travel well. For camping and tailgating, we need something  compact and easily stored. FlameDisk is the thing for us.

About FlameDisk

FlameDisk is a small Frisbee-sized disk that is basically the alternative to charcoal. It’s a self sustained 45 minute burning fire, which is plenty of cooking time for at least two rounds of most foods and it’s super convenient for tailgating and urban grilling. Plus it’s 100% ethanol based so it’s environmentally friendly as it burns clean.

No mess no bother. Its 1 inch height, 1 pound weight, and 9.5 inches diameter fits any size or shape grill. FlameDisk provides 40 minutes of clean burning constant heat grilling time. It has its own SmokerPlate built in to provide foods with a flame-griller flavor. Made from solidified ethanol, it is eco-friendly and leaves no soot, ashes, or hot coals.

I still intend to use my propane grill at home, but along with using it for travel I intend to keep FlameDisk on hand as propane backup.  FlameDisk is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3 or peel, light, grill. A three-pack costs $14.99, less than the price of charcoal and starter fluid. Go online to www.flamedisk.com and click to find a nearby retailer.
