About Corel Painter 4 Essentials

Easily sketch, paint and turn your photos into paintings with this creative home digital art studio. A wide selection of brushes, paints, pens and paper textures lets you add unique touches to photos, create cards and scrapbooks, and complete other fun projects.

Years ago photography studios took photographs and applied colors to them for oil paintings. This was the art of the times. Then came Kodak and color photography and picture hangings changed to glossy or matte. Well, Corel has digital painting software available for the computer that allows hobbyists to transform photos into paintings. Corel Painter4 Essentials is easy to use so creating digital art couldn’t be simpler.

I watched the video guide that comes with the program. It is good for both experienced and inexperienced users. It shows the entire process: Import a photo. Click on the auto-paint button that transfers the image to any specified medium or just plain sketch. Paint away on the blank canvas.

I love taking my own photographs. I can’t wait to play with Corel Painter4 Essentials and see what I can do with my photos.

Corel Painter 4 Essentials is compatible with Windows Vista or Windows XP (with latest Service Pack) and Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 (with latest revision).     THe Video Student Express 210 is something my teenager would love. she is just getting into trying to do the lyric and vidieo music sets…she has very few “passions” and diffuculty at school, so we really encourage her to find new things to do on the computer…hopefully will lead to school and a good job some day.
