Back in the 60′s our family had one M. D. or D. O. who did everything from house calls to surgery. Then with the 70′s came medical groups of doctors who jointly covered our caseload. By the 80′s physicians became primary caretakers who referred their patients on to specialists.
I know one licensed orthopedist retired from practice to become a lawyer. His practice had no longer become lucritive enough. People were always suing and the cost of malpractice insurance had just gotten too high. He decided to use his expertise and medical knowledge in court. He went back to law school then passed the bar. I suppose people would call him an orthopedic lawyer. So given these facts, what does the term Mesothelioma lawyers mean? Are they cancer doctors who have become lawyers or something else?
