At this time of year, we should all stop to remember and count our blessings. This is a time for love, joy, and giving of our heart. (Wallets don’t count.)
We flew in from picking up my grand daughter NV in California late last night. We’re having a second Christmas celebration today for her. I still have to wrap some more presents. In the holiday rush, I have been remiss about things like sending cards. My New Year’s Resolution is to procrastinate less and use my time more efficiently.
I want to thank Chicken Soup for the Soul for sending me its game Count Your Blessings and books like Story Song and Devotional Stories for Women. Chicken Soup’s short inspirational stories and motivational essays are great just like the home remedy soup that gave the series its name. I know I will enjoy reading them as much as the other ones I have read. I like that they are quick reads and provide the good, practical nudges we all need as we travel along life’s highways.
