Prayer for a Departed Hero

This hero has not left us.  He is with us watching over us.  He remains alive in America’s heart and heritage.  His patriotic family proudly remembers him.  He served “For God and Country” in war and peace.  He was our comrade, our friend, our leader.  We pray to God that he along with all our soldiers gain peace with honor and eternal rest.  Amen.

    What a lovely prayer-a great reminder of what these men have done for us.

    I believe in honoring our troops and or veterans.  They gave the US its future.
